We understand that when planning a site remotely, it is not always possible to validate every mounting position in advance. To support this, the Silvanet Deployment App automatically updates the device’s recorded location based on its actual installation point when scanned in.
This feature allows field teams to make necessary adjustments on-site if a planned mounting position is not available, while ensuring the network plan remains accurate. Devices should always be installed as close as possible to their planned positions to maintain reliable LoRa or mobile (LTE-M / NB-IoT) connectivity and avoid coverage gaps.
