Silvanet Border Gateways provide the central connection between your Silvanet network and the Silvanet Cloud. They connect forest devices to the cloud using LTE-M/NB-IoT or LAN, enabling reliable communication across your deployment.
Proper installation is essential to ensure stable network performance and reliable data transmission. This guide walks you through the complete installation process for a Silvanet Border Gateway, from mounting and power-up to completing the Connectivity test.

Deploying the Silvanet Border Gateway
Deploy the Border Gateway to make a connection with the Silvanet Cloud Platform.
Note: Before heading into the deployment area, find a location with good mobile connectivity, launch the Deployment app on the Smartphone, then select the Site so you could then use it offline.

1. Select the Border Gateway in the Deployment app

3. Start registration Warning: Ensure the Border Gateway is mounted correctly before starting the registration.

4. Connectivity test in progress Wait about three to five minutes for the Border Gateway to attempt to connect with the Silvanet Cloud. Check Results
