The Dryad Wildfire Sensor detects gases that are typically released in the very early stages of a wildfire. These include:
Hydrogen (H₂)
Carbon Monoxide (CO)
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
By sensing these gases at very low concentrations, the sensor can detect a fire before visible smoke or flames appear. This allows for early alerts and faster response times, reducing the risk of a wildfire spreading.
