Post-Deployment Calibration Period for Wildfire Sensors

After deployment, Wildfire Sensors require a short calibration period to adapt to their new environment. This ensures accurate readings and reliable fire detection.

Step 1 - Understand the Calibration Phase

• After first activation, Wildfire Sensors adjust their internal baselines for temperature, humidity, and gas detection.

• This typically takes 14 days.

Step 2 - Expect Minor Data Variations

• During calibration, readings may fluctuate or appear slightly abnormal.

• In some cases, the system may even trigger a fire alert during this period. This is expected and not a cause for concern.

Step 3 - Avoid Unnecessary Relocations

• Moving a sensor during calibration will restart the process.

• If relocation is unavoidable, expect another 24–48 hour adjustment period.

Step 4 - Monitor via Site Management

• Use the Device Data view to watch readings stabilize.
