What is the Silvanet Cloud Platform?

The Silvanet Cloud Platform is an all-in-one web app offering an integrated suite of tools including deployment planning, device management, site health monitoring, and alert management. 

The Silvanet Cloud Platform is based on a scalable AWS-based architecture that supports seamless integration with third-party systems (e.g., command and control systems) via API, ensuring robust performance and efficient alert handling.

The Silvanet Cloud Platform provides a comprehensive set of tools to alert users of a forest fire in its ultra-early stage. The Web-based Site Management app is the starting point for planning a Site while the Smartphone-based Deployment app is used for device deployment.

Amongst other features, the Site Management and Deployment apps are used to access the following tools:

Planning Tool

• User-Friendly Deployment Planning: Simplifies and optimizes network planning with automated gateway and sensor positioning.
• Multi-Layer Mapping: Integrates topography, 3D mapping, LoRaWAN coverage simulation, and terrain highlights (e.g., roads, trails), providing detailed and actionable insights for deployment.

Site Health Monitoring

• Interactive Map Interface: Allows users to locate gateways and sensor devices on a map, along with their individual alert status and network connectivity.
• Forest Health at a Glance: Provides a holistic view of the microclimate, monitoring parameters such as temperature, humidity, and air pressure.
• Fire Risk Prediction: Offers predictive insights to anticipate fire risks.

Alert Center

• Multi-Channel Alerts: Delivers notifications through in-app messages, emails, and push notifications, ensuring timely and reliable communication of critical events.

User Access

• Each registered user receives secure credentials. Permissions are role-based, ensuring the right level of access to planning, deployment, or monitoring tools.
