The Alert Center in the Silvanet Site Management App is your central hub for receiving and managing fire detection alerts from deployed sensors. It ensures that you can react quickly and efficiently when a potential fire event is detected.
How Alerts Are Generated
Sensor Detection: Silvanet sensors detect early signs of a fire (pyrolysis phase) and send this data to the nearest Border Gateway.
Data Transmission: The Border Gateway forwards the data to the Silvanet Cloud via LTE-M, Ethernet (PoE), or other available connections.
Alert Creation: The Silvanet Cloud analyzes the incoming data using advanced algorithms and machine learning, triggering a fire alert or warning when certain thresholds are met.
When the Silvanet system detects a smoldering fire, it immediately generates a fire alert.
In the app, a persistent popup dialog appears with a blinking Fire Alert icon, regardless of the current view.
Users can click on Go to Alert Center which opens the alerts overview page.
Selecting Mute Alerts hides alerts triggered from the Sensor identified in the Fire alert dialog. Alerts from other Sensors continue to appear.
Viewing Alerts in the Alert Center
Access the Alert Center via the Silvanet Site Management App.
-
Alerts are displayed in real-time with details such as:
Alert Status: Fire warning or confirmed fire alert.
- Site name (Filter): Site which triggered the Fire alert. Select the Filter icon to sort the list by Site name.
- Detected At: Time and date when the Fire alert was triggered.
- Confirmed At: When the fire alert was confirmed.
- Cleared At: Shows time and date if the Fire alert was cleared. Otherwise shows Ongoing.
Time and Date: When the event was detected.
- Triggered By: The number of triggered sensors
Site ID:ID of the Site as shown in the URL.
- Open icon: Opens the alert in the Alert details page.
Selecting a Fire alert from the Current alerts tab opens the Alert details page in a new window.
- Name: Descriptive name of the Sensor as assigned by Silvanet Cloud.
- Alert: Indicates type of alert. Fire Alert or Early Alert
- Detected At: Time the alert was triggered and sent by the Sensor.
- GPS Coordinates: Latitude and Longitude of the Sensor triggering the alert.
- Directions: Opens a map (Google Maps) with a pin showing the location of the sensor that triggered the fire alert. If Google Maps is not installed, it launches a browser and opens Google Maps in the browser
