Dryad uses in-browser audio alerts to notify you when a fire alert is received. Some browsers block audio from playing automatically. This article explains how to ensure audio alerts are correctly enabled in commonly used browsers.
Google Chrome
Click View Site Information next to the website address in the address bar.
Select Site settings.
Scroll to Sound.
Set it to Allow.
Return to the Dryad tab and refresh the page.
Mozilla Firefox
Click the Permissions icon (gear or shield) next to the site URL in the address bar.
Find Autoplay and set it to Allow Audio and Video.
Refresh the page to activate sound alerts.
Safari
Go to the Dryad website.
In the top menu, click Safari > Settings for This Website.
Find the Auto-Play setting.
Select Allow All Auto-Play.
Refresh the page to enable audio.
Microsoft Edge
Click the three-dot menu (…) in the upper-right corner.
Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
Scroll down and click Site permissions.
Select Media autoplay.
Under Allow, click Add, enter
https://dryad.app, and click Add.Return to the Dryad tab and refresh the page to activate audio alerts.
