The Connectivity column in the Device Overview provides a quick view of each sensor’s communication status with the Silvanet Cloud. This allows forest managers and operators to monitor network health and take action when devices experience connectivity issues.
Each device can show one of the following statuses:
Active: The device is communicating normally and sending data as expected.
Pending: The device has experienced minor delays in sending data, but essential functions, such as fire detection, remain operational.
Inactive: The device has not communicated for an extended period and may require attention.
Connectivity Statuses Based on RSSI
Sensor connectivity is determined primarily by signal reception quality (RSSI) and the time since the last message.
