Why did I get this notification?
Dryad displays Inactive Device warnings in the site view of the Site Management App and, if enabled, via SMS or Email to the site administrator when:
Any of your site’s gateways become inactive, or
A significant number of sensors at your site are inactive.
It ensures users are always aware if their site is not fire detection ready or partially compromised, allowing prompt action to restore full monitoring capability.

How to diagnose the issue
Open your site in the Dryad Site Management App.
Navigate to the “Inactive Devices” tab.
Select the inactive device.
Review the expanded device view.
The expanded view displays warnings or notifications about the device’s status.
Access supporting troubleshooting articles via the links provided in the device warnings and notifications.

Identify the cause of the inactivity (energy or connectivity).
Follow the relevant troubleshooting steps in our dedicated Help Center articles.

🚫 What happens if ignored:
Gateways or sensors remain offline, resulting in a fully or partially inactive site and causing no or limited fire detection across the area.
