The Alert Center in the Silvanet Site Management app is where fire alerts from the Silvanet Wildfire Sensors are received and reviewed. These alerts provide real-time insight into potential fire events in monitored areas.
Labeling an alert is an important part of incident response and documentation, but it is a one-time action. Once labeled, an alert cannot be changed, so it’s important to review all available information before assigning a label.
Where to Find and Review Alerts
- Log into the Silvanet Site Management interface.
- Open the Alert Center via the left-hand menu or main dashboard.
- You'll see a list of all active and past alerts, with key information like:
- Detected Time of alert
- Site name and ID
How to Label an Alert
Important:
- Confirm field conditions before labeling.
- Coordinate with your team during investigations.
When an alert appears, follow these steps to label it accurately:
1. Select the Alert
Click on the new alert in the list to open its detail view.
2. Review the Alert Data
Check sensor data, timestamp, and location. Use this information (and any field verification if available) to understand the cause of the alert.
3. Assign a Label
Choose the most appropriate label from the available options:
- Fire Extinguished – A confirmed fire was successfully put out.
- Fire Test – The alert was triggered by a scheduled or authorized test.
- False Alert – Sensor triggered, but no fire was present.
Alert Timed Out
If an alert is not labeled within 6 hours, it will automatically receive the label: Alert Timed Out
