Alert Notification Sensitivity settings let users choose how sensitive their site’s alert system should be. This determines when a fire alert is triggered.
Silvanet sites provide two configurable alert modes, designed to suit different site environments. You can adjust these settings at any time in the Dryad Site Management App under Site Settings.
Standard Alert Mode(Default)
This ultra-early wildfire detection model is optimized for most environments, offering high speed and reliability.
Fire alert notifications (via Email/SMS) are triggered as soon as a single sensor issues a validated alert.
You will continue to receive warning alerts and any additional fire alerts from nearby sensors.
Harsh Environment Mode
Designed for sites with more challenging conditions such as industrial emissions, poor air quality, or high urban activity.
An Early Alert (via Email/SMS) is optional and sent when a single sensor is triggered.
- A confirmed fire alert follows once an additional surrounding sensor also triggers an alert.
API Users
Users of the Dryad API webhook can configure their settings based on specific event types:
alert.new– A new fire alert has been triggered.alert-event.new– A new relevant gas scan has been received in the context of an active alert.
