Yes, you can use your own SIM card in the Silvanet Gen 3 Border Gateway.
The Gen 3 Border Gateway comes with a Telus embedded SIM card that is preconfigured for connectivity. However, you can insert an external SIM card if there is no connection with the embedded SIM, or if you prefer to use your own network provider.
The external SIM card must support LTE-M or NB-IoT networks and provide adequate coverage in your gateway’s location.
Before using your own SIM card, make sure it meets all the required specifications.
