In some situations, you may need to cancel a deployment that was previously created in the Silvanet Site Management app. The steps you take depend on whether any devices have already been installed at the site.
Cancelling a deployment does not delete the site itself. It only stops the current deployment workflow so you can update details, rebuild the plan, or remove the setup entirely.
1. No Devices Are Installed
If the deployment is not started and no Gateways or Sensors have been installed, the cancellation process is straightforward.
How to cancel:
Select the Site and enter the Planning tool
Go to the View Deployments page in the top-right corner.
Select the deployment plan that has the status Set to Deploy, you want to canc
Click Cancel Deployment.
Confirm the cancellation.
What happens next:
The completed plan will remain in the Site Planning home, where you can duplicate for reuse.
Installation instructions are removed.
The Deployment is no longer available in the Silvanet Deployment App
You can create a new deployment for the site whenever you are ready.
2. Some Devices Are Installed
If one or more devices have already been installed and assigned to the deployment, additional steps may be necessary before cancellation.
How to cancel:
Review which devices are installed at the site.
Decide whether the installed devices should remain active at this site or be removed.
If the devices will remain installed
You can proceed with Finish Deployment directly.
The devices will stay assigned to the site, and no further installation steps will be required.
If the devices should be removed or relocated
Physically remove the devices from the field as needed.

In the Silvanet Deployment app, Uninstall the devices.

Once the devices are cleared, select Finish Deployment.
What happens next:
The completed plan will remain in the Site Planning home, where you can duplicate for reuse.
Any devices left in place remain registered to the site and are visible in any future site planning.
