Planning for best Satellite Connectivity
- The sensor should be mounted at a height of approximately 3m
- It must have a clear line of sight to the horizon with an angle of 20–30 degrees.
- The sensor should not be installed indoors or in locations surrounded by large buildings, as this may obstruct the signal.

Sensor Deployment Orientation
For best performance and the most accurate environmental data, a south-facing orientation is recommended, preferably in semi-shaded areas.
If an environmental sensor must be deployed in an area with strong and continuous sun exposure, a north-facing orientation is recommended to help minimise potential impact on measurements.
